Today we were at a dialogue session about human-macaque conflict, attended by residents staying near the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. Overall it was a positive session, and we were delighted that the focus wasnt on culling, but instead more about long-term measures we humans should take to address this issue. We were pleased that Mdm Halimah Halimah Yacob, MP for the area and Speaker of Parliament, was there. We look forward to working on solutions, so that we humans and our non-human fellow residents can live in harmony here in Singapore!
