Help To Rescue The Mother-Dog And Other Dogs In Sunway

As a follow-up to this case, a few days ago, Maslinda offered to help Jessy Lian capture and secure the mother-dog and the other two dogs who are limping.

A few minutes ago, Ah Fatt called me and offered help as well. He says he has a specially-made dog-trap which has worked in his rescue of adult dogs. The trap works in such a way that when the bait is “disturbed”, the trap door shuts. I asked if the trap door shuts in a loud way, and Ah Fatt said no. He got it specially tailor-made from a contact given by the Wildlife Department.

Wow…this is exciting as the cat-trap that we know of requires much “courage” to use because the trap door shuts with a bang and this has been known to traumatise the cats.

I’ve asked Ah Fatt to have a photo taken so that we can all see how the trap works. Other rescuers might like to get one made too.

Meanwhile, I’ve got Jessy Lian in touch with Ah Fatt now. Let’s hope the mother-dog can be reunited with her puppies and the other two dogs can be rescued for treatment.
