Little Simba was rescued by May Ann but she needed an adopter, so we blogged and Norely offered to foster Little Simba and rehome him later. Simba was doing really well, had two deworming done and was adjusting to solid food. Norely had even found an adopter for Little Simba and he was about to go to his new home already. However, Norely delayed the rehoming because Simba also had a bit of diarrhoea off and on. His condition suddenly suffered a setback and he was found lying still in his cage on 28th May. Norely rushed him to the 24-hour hospital and treatment but Little Simba passed on the next morning. We convey our deepest condolences to Norely and her family but thank her very much for having looked after Little Simba for 3 weeks and given him so much love and care. We are sure that Simba is in a happy place now where he does not suffer anymore.
All animals go to heaven because they have pure hearts.
We have subsidised RM277.50 (50% of the total bill of RM555, the cost of treatment for 2 days to save Little Simba’s life). This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM139.50) and Berjaya Cares (RM138).

Dear Dr. Chan,
Our family was truly blessed to have shared a phenomenal three and half weeks with this ball of fur who had so much love to give. Simba taught us to appreciate what we have and to love unconditionally no matter how big, who or what the being is. We will miss his constant purring every time we touched him or petted him. We will miss cuddling him in his favorite towel every time we finished cleaning him. We will miss hearing his constant meowing every time he wanted us to pay attention to him. All these beautiful memories will forever be ingrained in our minds, hearts and souls. Thank you Simba for touching our lives with the most unimaginable ways. He was such a sweetheart!
Ely
Be happy in your new existence now, Little Simba!
