Emergency Relief Work, Nakhon Phanom Shelter 01-June 2013...

Nakhon Phanom Disease Epidemic Update

Work continues over the weekend vaccinating and treating rescued dogs held at the Nakhon Phanom shelter. Importantly improved disease containment measures have been taken, as best as can be done under the circumstances with the facilities never having been intended to contain large dog populations.

Many thanks to the officers and staff of the Nakhon Phanom shelter, the Department of Livestock Development, World Vets, Humane Society International and Worldwide Veterinary Services for their tremendous efforts towards helping the dogs.

To help dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade please donate today at: http://www.soidog.org/en/magic-1000/
