“HEY….CAN WE HAVE A LITTLE PRIVACY PLEASE?”

Yes, Beast and Sweetheart do like their privacy but caretaker Karen F. couldn’t resist sneaking this quick photo of the two enjoying the toys in one of their outbuildings. The cats are part of a colony of feral and semi-feral felines who were relocated just before winter when they were thrown out of their territory by the property owner.

The cats were all trapped and relocated to a home-based barn sanctuary which was specially outfitted with ramps and toys and beds in every size and color. We fenced a large outdoor area so the cats can have plenty of freedom to move and sun themselves. Every cat should have it so good.

As always, we thank all of our Harmony Fund supporters who enable us to take on special projects like this one. And we have tremendous gratitude for Kris and Mary who helped in feeding, trapping and bringing the cats to the veterinarian during their transition to the barn. The cats certainly had their warmest winter ever this year and now they’re thrilled to relax and enjoy all the adventures that spring brings. www.HarmonyFund.org
