Medical Subsidy For 3 Distemper Puppies From Seremban (Yap Mei Hans)

We have subsidised RM157.50 for this case, which is 50% of the total bill of RM315. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM79.50) and Berjaya Cares (RM78).
We have called up the vet to verify this case. Two of the puppies passed on and only one survived. But the good news is, this surviving puppy has now been adopted (please see below).

Thank you for your prompt response on the Selayang strays. I will do the necessary once the dogs are rescued.
I’m writing to you on a separate case and hope to receive your approval on my request. On 30 April 2013, an appeal was posted on facebook regarding amother dog and her 6 puppies. The pupplies were delivered by the roadside and this has posed great danger to them.
On 03 May 2013, another update was provided and by this time, only 3 puppies left. I was concerned on their safety and responded to the appeal. I drove to Seremban the next day and rushed the puppies to the nearest vet. Two of the puppies were very weak and ticks were nesting in their ears. I sent them to the vet in Seremban (details provided).
Dr Benny was on duty and he attended to the puppies. He confirmed the puppies suffered from distemper virus and blood parasite. The puppies were hospitalised for 3 days. I extended their stay atdoctor’s recommendationas their situation are yetto stabilise.
On 09 May 2013, I received a call from the vet informing one of the puppy died. It was a malepuppy and he was too weak to fight against the virus.
On 11 May 2013, the second puppy died in the morning. Only one survived. The puppy is currently at the vet pending for her adoption.
The total bill come up to RM315 excluding all other incidental costs. I would like to seek subsidy from Animal Care Society for the medical treatment. I have read and fully aware on thesubisdy policy.
I confirm I didn’t receive any financial support from the public and the expenses was fully borne by myself.

I would like to provide an update to the Seremban puppies case. The only survivor from the 3 puppieshas been adopted today.I enclose the photo of the puppywith her new owner at their home in Rawang.
