The PR-Kittens Are Doing Fine (Khadijah Shaaris)

Ref:http://myanimalcare.org/2013/05/06/4-kittens-for-adoption-khadijah-shaaris/

It’s almost like a poetic comfort for all of us who were quite upset over the results of the elections this time.

A neighbour had dumped a litter of 4 newborn kittens on Khadijah Shaari’s doorstep a few days on 2nd May, just a few days before the elections. Khadijah, being the cat-lover that she is, took them in and cared for them. She named them Haniza, Hannah, Wong Chen and Rafizi (for obvious reasons).

Well, the 4 PR-kittens are doing well now, despite not having the benefit of their feline mother’s milk. And it’s all thanks to Khadijah and her husband, Mr Yeong.

It’s a poetic comfort for all of us, isn’t it? In the same way, we, the people, will “look after” the leaders of our choice by being with them in one spirit. Come 2018….

Until then, we continue doing what is good and right, as Khadijah is doing for these kittens.

The 4 kittens are up for adoption, but Mr Yeong prefers to have them adopted together.

“People are better people if they treat their animals well”.

Never underestimate the power of kindness and goodness.

Hi Kah Yein,
Thank you for trying to help us.
I do get muddled up when I am emotional. Like now, e.g., I am upset that PR did not make it to Putra Jaya. Lain kalilah, I guess. However the 4 PR kittens are doing well, getting more mischievous by the day. I have a feeling we will find it difficult to give them away in the end. It happens all the time…sigh***
FYI my husband will be sending 2 “walk-ins” to the vet tomorrow to be neutered. That’s the story of our life.
Rgds,
Khadijah
