News on Bonny!
The vet just called minutes ago. Bonny survived the exploratory surgery and has woken up now. From the surgery, the spleen was very enlarged and there was a lot of abscess. It appears most likely to be cancer and the vet has already removed everything that needs to be removed. Only post-op care is required now.
As for the TVT treatment with chemotherapy, the vet delayed the second dose as he had planned to do the exploratory surgery. However, the good news is that even after the first chemo dose, the TVT swelling on the eye and vulva had already subsided substantially.
We wish Bonny a speedy recovery and may happy, cheerful Bonny regain her health soon.
We also hope Pei Kuan can update us with photos when she next visits.

Dear Dr. Chan,
Today evening Dr. Khor called me and update me on Bonny’s condition. He did the surgery on today’s evening and found that it is the spleen that causes the stomach to be bloated. He has removed the spleen and used a packet of blood (300cc) during the surgery. He mentioned that to ascertain if this is cancerous cell he needs to take sample and go for lab test. I have given him the consent to do so. I was unable to make it tonight and tomorrow’s night to visit Bonny but I will visit her on Saturday.
