Medical Subsidy For Female Puppy (parvo Suspect) (Lester Hiew Thiam Hocks)

We have subsidised RM90 for the treatment of this female puppy, suspected of parvo virus, rescued by Lester Hiew and his mother. We have verified this case with the vet and the vet informed us that the female puppy was tested negative of parvovirus but found to have the symptoms. The puppy was treated and has recovered. Lester has taken the puppy home.

The puppy also had a male sibling and he was tested positive. The male sibling did not make it.

Good evening Dr. Chan Kah Yein,

My name is Lester Hiew Thiam Hock (920501-04-5015) and I am from Klang.

I am an independent dog rescuer with my mother, Jenny, to help the stray dogs mainly in Taman Desawan (where I live), Klang Jaya, and the stray dogs near MPKlang dog pound where it is quitedesertedand mainly foreigners live.
Currently, we have 2 stray puppies receiving treatment in a clinic in USJ. 1 male and 1 female and they are siblings. The male puppy is being treated for Parvo virus and Corona virus while the female puppy is being treated for slight Parvo virus and fever.
I would like to highlight the male puppy.His condition is quite critical and he has received the treatments such as boarding, various inoculations, medicines, drips, blood transfusion, test for distemper (results came out negative), and others. The vet estimated a figure of RM600-RM700 for the total treatment for the male puppy.
I really hope that you and your organization can help us by subsidizing some amount of the total bill for this male puppy.

Lester, who turned out to be a student in my college, confirmed that he has not raised any funds for these two puppies through facebook or any social media.

good afternoon Dr Chan.

this email is a write-up regarding the female puppy (male puppy’s sister) with slight parvo virus and fever.
this female puppy had her major treatments in the clinic in USJ. we admitted her to the vet soon after we discovered that her brother had Parvo virus and we also noticed a change in her eating habits – she is not eating much anymore. her treatments include deworming, vaccination, drips, tests, and others.
after showing much recovery, the vet recommended us to bring her back to her original place but we further asked for his advice. we took her out from the clinic and at the moment, she is in a clinic in Klang which is much nearer to my home and we canconvenientlyvisit her as her original place she was straying still has the Parvo virus.
