Updates On 28th Mar 2013

On 27 March 2013, the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur fulfilled his pledge “I will cycle from my residence to the office IF at least 50 commercial buildings in the city switched off their lights for Earth Hour.” Cycling together with the Mayor was WWF-Malaysia’s Executive Director/CEO, Dato’ Dr Dionysius Sharma, the Ambassador of Netherlands to Malaysia, H. E. Mr. Paul Bekkers, and the Ambassador of Germany to Malaysia, Dr. Guenter Gruber. They were flagged off by the national conservation organisation’s Chief Operating Officer, Sudeep Mohandas.
