The much awaited updates on lil’Elvin the pup who drags his hind

Don’t worry Lil’ Elvin,you will be fine…
A closer look at Elvin hind legs
Lil’ Elvin at the vet for further diagnosis….

Puppy Elvin was checked by Dr. Zamzi and he thought the cause of the bent backward of the hind legs could be due to spine problem or caused by umbilical cord (when still a foetus).

Elvin is too young to do any surgery, moreover, he would not be very mobile like now if both his legs were to be amputated (at least now he can drag and swing himself along.)

At the fosterer house….
The surgery can be done only when Elvin is about 6 mth old.
Then he needs a WHEEL CHAIR to move around.
We have sent Elvin to Pauline who will be fostering him.
Pauline is a very attentive lady, Elvin is in good hands.
Enjoying his rawhide…
We would need to buy some padded mat for Elvin so he can move around without hurting his legs.

According to the vet lil’ Elvin is still too young for surgery,so he will be in foster care for few months now till he is 6 months old. After that he will need a wheel chair to move around in future.
