Dog Meat Traders Arrested Friday (15-03-2013)
3 trucks have been intercepted in Bueng Kan province just north of Sakhon Nakhon, Thailand. Two of the trucks contained empty cages and the third caged dogs containing 117 dogs. The trucks were headed for crossing points on the Mekong river for onward transport of the dogs to Vietnam. 5 men and 1 woman arrested.
Over the past several weeks 500 plus dogs have been saved and will be kept at government shelters in NE Thailand.
