When youve spotted an adorable squirrel scurrying around (in Singapore), have you been able you able to identity which species it is?

Its not always an easy task, but this simple chart may help!

So, tell us, which of these squirrels have you seen before, and where? :)

And please remember, cute as they may be, squirrels should NEVER be kept as pets, and both capturing a wild squirrel or keeping one as a pet are illegal in Singapore. To find out why, visit http://www.acres.org.sg/wildlifecrime/wildanimals.html

Note: Some species shown are now very rare in Singapore due to habitat loss, and may even be extinct.
