For our animal trivia this week, we’re looking at our bushy-tailed friends – squirrels!
Squirrels are all over the place! They’re found on most continents, with the exception of Antarctica and Australia.
The species most commonly found in Singapore is the plantain squirrel.
Singapore is also home to some other species of squirrel, including the cream-coloured giant squirrel- one of the largest squirrels in the world! However, these are very rare now due to habitat loss, and may even be extinct.
