Murphy�s Story�

Poor Murphy at only 2 years old came to the shelter as unable to fend for himself on the streets. Murphy was suffering from a severely compromised immune system and virtually hairless from mange. Murphy when found was a walking skeleton, virtually hairless and covered in open wounds.

If Murphy had not been rescued he would undoubtedly have died a slow and painful death alone. Murphy had obviously given up hope and when found was lying in a street gutter. At first our animal rescue officers thought he was dead!

Murphy�s recovery has been truly remarkable and within just a few short weeks has grown a nearly full coat! Murphy is very timid and shy as well as quite gentle. He will probably become a resident in the shy dogs run.
