Updates On 5th Mar 2013

On Monday, 4 March 2013, SBS called to inform us that one of their bus drivers had accidentally knocked into a mongrel upon one of his bus routes . Our Animal Rescue Officers were notified of the incident, and immediately went to the site. But due to the impact of the collision, the dog did not survive.

We are indeed saddened that the animal could not be saved, however, we would like to commend SBS for taking the initiative to contact us on this situation which required urgent attention.

The SPCA would like to emphasize on the importance of working together as one community and at the same time, making it an animal-loving one. We would also like to instil a sense of responsibility in each of us, so that in future instances, if you do spot cases such as the above, please do contact the SPCA and we will deliver our promise of providing relief to any animal in distress.

Thank You.
