Dogs do not instinctively know what we want them to do. They dont intentionally do things to make us upset (on the contrary, they love to please us).
Be a responsible pet owner and put in the effort to train your dog (and even more so, yourself on how to behave around an animal). Dont assume that your dog already knows what to do! Set aside time and tons of patience to train them yourself or attend professional training classes with them regularly. Most importantly, make sure you remember to reinforce what has been taught and not confuse your dog with mixed signals!
You will soon find yourself in the company of a well-adjusted and loving member of the family :)
