We have subsidised RM100 for the spaying and RM27.50 for the mange treatment of Fifi, a community cat.

Hello Dr. Chan.
I’m writing this to you to apply for a subsidy for the spaying & treatment of a female stray cat. She’s a newcomer to my neighborhood, and I’ve been feeding her outside my house for the past 2 weeks.
She seems to be of age, and will likely be in heat soon. So I’d like to get her spayed before then. She also has a case of mange which I’d like the vet to treat as well. I’ve asked my local vet & they said the spaying will cost RM180 (inclusive of medication & 1 night boarding), while the mange injection will be RM35 and consultation is RM20. Total will come to RM215 if there are no further complications from the surgery.
May I apply for a 50% subsidy of the above treatment cost, Dr. Chan? I’d be really grateful if you can help, and I’ll be happy to provide photos of the female cat once I have the opportunity to take some photos of her.
