Remember Sea Lion,? — rescued from the illegal dog meat trade and brought to America on his way to his forever home in Australia.Sea Lion captured the hearts of thousands worldwide and has become a famous mascot for stopping the trade. He saw a full team of Doctors and Nurses for his diagnosis. The news was no surprise and not the best news for Sea Lion as he will need a number of different operations to solve the following problems:� Bilateral hip dysplasia� External rotation of the right femur� Left medial patellar luxation: grade 3/4� Quadriceps and gastrocnemius tie down of the right pelvic limbHis foster mum Linda says the following about Sea Lion: As for themedical prognosis I am actually encouraged that they think so much can be done for him.
