I received this from Joanne Lim, from Klang, last night.
Hi, Dr Chan
I'm Joanne Lim from Klang. I've come across your website and your work in helping strays.
I have always wanted to spay/neuter the stray dogs in the factory area where I work (Batu 7 1/2 at Jalan Kapar) but could not come up with the money for this and they are multiplying fast. Today I found out 1 of the dogs is having a broken hind leg n she can hardly move around. Pls advise what help I can get for this dog and also on the spaying/neutering of the female dogs here. I've tried to get friends to donate for the spaying/neutering but sadly almost no1 would.
At the moment, there are about 7 adult females, 3 males. 2 of them just gave birth last month. There are few other puppies born last year, 1 died yesterday probably because of sickness. Sometimes ran over by lorries/forklifts which go in n out of the factory. They are strays and do not belong to anyone.
Last month 1 of the puppies were sick, I managed to bring her to the vet but it costs me RM90 after I insisted for a discount for a stray. N luckily she survived after I fed her medication for a few days.
Pls advise as I see the number of strays will grow rapidly. I will send u some pics which I took earlier later tonight.
Thank you.
Gosh, look at these little cuties....
How can you not help them, right?
We'll sponsor the spay-neuter costs of all the ten dogs and subsidise the treatment for the injured one.
Many thanks to Mandy, for helping with all the logistics.
Many thanks to all of you, for contributing to our fund and buying our tshirts. Without your help, there will be no fund.
If, by any chance, you'd like to adopt these dogs (there are some puppies too), please contact Joanne directly at canieanne@yahoo.com
Let's work together in this and let's help the animals!
