I received a call yesterday from a Mrs Tan who asked for help to spay one female cat. Apparently, there is a Malay lady by the name of Tina (or Lina, I couldn't quite hear properly on the phone) who is a cat-feeder. Tina has been feeding stray cats for many years and lately, she had been unwell.
Mrs Tan wanted to help Tina get this particular female cat spayed, but she herself (Mrs Tan) is also a cat caregiver and has been stretched to the limit with her own cases.
Mrs Tan asked if we could help out.
Of course we can as long as we have funds; that's what AnimalCare does.
Here's the cat after the operation.
As long as we still have funds, we will help rescuers in their work to care for the stray animals. However, since our resources are very limited, we can only extend our help in the area of providing the financial assistance in spay-neuter and medical treatments.
The cost of spaying for Tina's cat is fully sponsored by us. Boarding is covered by Mrs Tan.
