Berjaya Founder�s Day (23rd February 2013)

We are extremely pleased to announce that AnimalCare is one of the many beneficiaries of the 2013 Berjaya Founder’s Day. The event will be held on 23rd February at Berjaya Times Square. Do please mark your calendar and join us for an event of fun, games, goodwill and to lend your support to the many charities who will be featured on this day.

Meanwhile, yesterday we were invited to participate in a media interview with Sin Chew Jit Poh. Our celebrity friend was Ms Chelsia Ng, a young Malaysia with an amazing career in acting, hosting and singing. �Chelsia is also an animal lover and has rescued dogs and ducklings!

We thank Berjaya Cares Foundation very much for choosing us as one of their beneficiaries and more importantly, for supporting the cause of animal welfare and awareness.

Here is a sharing from Chelsia: Chelsia rescued two puppies sometime last year and after getting them treated, she surrendered them to PAWS (because she could not find them homes and she had no space in her apartment to keep them). She is so pleased to know that the two puppies are still at PAWS now (after more than a year) and there is a very good chance that they might be adopted soon. Throughout this period, Chelsia endeavoured to find them homes by asking her friends to view the puppies at PAWS. �Once the puppies were adopted, but it did not work out and they were returned to PAWS. The puppies have grown now but they still recognise Chelsia whenever she visits! Chelsia also rescued 3 ducklings sometime ago, and now one of the them provides her with eggs regularly (unfertilised, as there is no male). �We are glad that our celebrity friend for this event is a fellow animal lover and rescuer too!
