Ohana�s Adoption Drive Today

Connie and I reached Ohana at about 9.30 am with our stock.

�Here are all the pretty ladies at Ohana with some of Ohana’s fostered puppies (ready for adoption).

�We’d like to thank Ms Tan Chooi Chooi for inviting us to open a booth today. In fact, we have a standing invitation every week, but we just don’t have the humanpower to open a booth on a weekly basis.

Winnie soon arrived. Here’s Winnie, Connie and me.

�We’re all set up with our merchandise.

�Our tshirts too.

�In front of the shop is this large courtyard where the doggies can run and play freely. It’s just perfect for an adoption drive.

�And for photography sessions too.

�Our volunteer, Chun Eng, simply adores puppies and each puppy would always get a cuddle and a hug from her.

Nandhini helped out today too.

�Puppies play, puppies sleep.

Agnes and Sumitra brought their cats for adoption.

�The puppies are simply adorable.

This kitten is for adoption too.

�Hmm..what’s the fuss all about here? I just want to sleep…

�Here’s Koo with his dog, Blackie.

�Blackie was rescued and had miraculously survived a (probably broken earlier and now, fused) spine.

�Mary brought Nellie for adoption too.

�This is Sugar the Beagle – we voted him the happiest dog of the day. And also, the most energetic.

I think the KL 112 Rally probably affected the crowd today as there were more rescuers than visitors. Nevertheless, we were happy to meet everyone and we certainly had fun. Thank you everyone for your support and thank you, Ohana!

�We packed up by 5.30pm and were all ready to go.

�Meanwhile, here’s a photo of our red tshirt, sent by a happy supporter, from home.
