***104 reasons to Stop the Eviction #27: Italia***

Italia had a tragic start to her life at the Vietnam Bear Rescue Centre. Unbeknown to us, she was pregnant when she arrived and soon gave birth to a tiny cub. The cub, not surprisingly given the stress Italia had endured, did not survive. It was an extremely traumatic time for her and she was angry with all humans who came near her for some time. Three years on she is now much more relaxed, living happily as part of a group of 18 bears in a large outdoor enclosure. Italia has suffered enough. She deserves a life without further upheaval.
