Isn't it a small world!!
My friend, Sze Too, found a wandering Shih Tzu in January and after having failed to locate the owner, I advertised "Mangala" (that's the name given by Sze Too and his family) for adoption and within a few hours, someone had responded.

This weekend, at Petfinder's Carnival, "Mangala's" adopters came to visit our booth, buy our tshirt, meet up with me, and to show me Mangala's (now, renamed Boy Boy) photos!
The adopters are Junie and her mum. Arggh, I forgot to take a photo! Junie says her mum is an ardent reader of this blog! I'm deeply honoured, Aunty. You made my day!
Anyway, I told Junie to send me photos of Boy Boy now so that I could send them to Sze Too. Sze Too and his family still think very fondly of Mangala (@ Boy Boy). One week, and that's it - a bond is form....sometimes, for life. That's how charming animals are....
Here's Junie's email:
Good Evening
This morning Mom and I went to your booth at SPYR and bought a t-shirt from you. We mention that we have adopted the lost shitzu that your friend and even showed you a photo of our beloved dog. Attached are some of the photos that we took of him. We have named our beloved dog Boy Boy. :)
Cheers Junie
Life...is GOOD!!
Just a note: A few days after Boy Boy was adopted, the owner actually contacted Sze Too and said his children were looking for Boy Boy. But the owner did not quite know how long Boy Boy had gone missing and finally, he wasn't quite interested in getting Boy Boy back. So, all's well that ends well. What's important is that Boy Boy has a loving home now and a family who loves him to bits!
