A Christmas message from Carly Jane Evans of Soi Dog UK and her recent addition to her family, Hope. Hope was rescued from the illegal dog meat trade to Vietnam and is now living with Crly and her family in the UK.

Merry Christmas to everyone. I’ve had the most life changing year just from finding Hope. Ive made wonderful new friends along the way not just in the UK but across the pond too. Hope has changed our lives ten fold and I wouldn’t change that for a minute. Thank you to Charlotte Amon for asking me to be a part of the Management Team for Soi Dog UK, thank you Kathryn Raby and Soot Liang Woo for being great friends to me when things get tough, thank you to Wendy Harley and Roz MuttyProfessor for being my kindred spirits (wish we were closer) and thanks to everyone in between but most of all thank you to John Dalley, Cindy Amey and Pimpakharn Petpichetchien for whom without none of this would have been possible. Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand. The organisation is dedicated to implementing effective, sustainable solutions that reduce the suffering of dogs and cats in Asia, runs entirely on donations and works efficiently so all donations are used to help animals as effectively as possible.
