A Fairy Tale �beginning� For Chitam And Etta�s Kittens!

Do you remember Etta James and her 3 kittens? And Chitam, the premature black kitty? We found a fosterer for all of them, and eventually, Chitam ended up with Etta James’ family where Etta took her under her wing and nursed her.

A few weeks ago, Etta started rejecting her own kittens and Chitam. We know this is a sign of the kittens are ready to be independent. Some mother animals do this, as did Pole. The fosterer handfed Chitam, and Chitam was a little weak at first, but she recovered and is now well.

Yesterday, Chitam and all of Etta’s kittens were adopted – all by the same person. Etta stays with the fosterer and one of our readers have offered to sponsor Etta’s spaying in full.

All’s well that ends well. And what a lovely beginning for everyone!
