Female Stray @ Juru Required Medical Help

Thanks to the public, this female stray from Juru rescued by Joanne is currently doing well. She has recently had her 2nd jab and her tumour is visibly shrinking.

We are looking for a home (either permanent/temporary) after she is discharge from the vet clinic as the residents from the place she used to loiter does not welcome her existence and constantly hit or throw things at her.

If you are able to give this dog a permanent/temporary home, please contact Joanne at 016-6623586. Joanne is a rescuer who help to send this female stray she encountered at Juru for medical help. Due to the serious condition of this dog, she will need to be boarded at the veterinary clinic to continue with her treatment. The cost of of medical fee inclusive of spaying is estimated at around RM1200. We hope the public will give a helping hand to help us raise fund for the medical fee as the amount is too much for Joanne to bear alone. The vet has advise to spay the dog first before starting her on a series of jabs to treat her condition. The dog is currently boarding at Peng Aun Veterinary Clinic.

The SPCA Seberang Perai is a society registered in September 2005. Our primary aim is to reduce the population of stray animals or possibly a zero stray population in a humane manner. With lesser strays or no strays at all, the loving value of animals will be greatly increased and you can be sure that humans will shower more love for their pets and be responsible pet owners. The problem should not only be shouldered by our Society as the public must also understand the urgent need to control the pet population and give their whole-hearted support to all our projects for the undertaking to be successful. Then we will achieve a clean and hygienic environment for the community. As a no killing organization, we are embarking on a two-prong approach towards the problem i.e public education and sterilization of the stray animals.
