In my communication with animal rescuers, I noticed a trend in some of them. Some (not all, just some) have totally lost faith in humanity and some think the worst of humans.

So, if you think you might be becoming a human-hater, halt…put on the brakes, take a look at the photos above and remember that animal rescue work cannot be carried out without humans.

Then smile and say a prayer of peace and goodwill to all beings, animal-haters included!

It doesn’t pay to harbour hatred in your heart. Life is short.
