Medical Sponsorship For Abg G (Maslinda Abd Talib�s)

Abg G is another community cat which is quite elusive until about a month ago (feeding him for more than a year). i managed to catch him for castration. I did apply for subsidy from AnimalCare but since someone is paying for him, i’ve cancelled the application.

Spot him with eye condition (lense prolapsed) as in pictures and brought him to vet. i believed he had a fight with other cats. Unfortunately, the eye cant be saved and he was scheduled to undergo an eye enucleation surgery tomorrow (wednesday). the vet is full on monday and cant have the procedure on the same day. since Abg G is doing fine in other area (eating etc), therefore the vet feels it’s ok to scheduled it tomorrow, or no urgency. meanwhile, abg G was prescribed with antibiotics.

He underwent an enucleation surgery due to lense prolapsed. he’s one of the most hard to catch cats in my community, but finally, able to be caught. besides the lense prolapsed, he also suffer from diarrhoea. i cant tell much on his stool history as he only come during meal time

currently he’ll be confined for few weeks until full recovery. on I/D diet, antibiotics and diarrhoea meds. he’ll be put in e collar, but when the pics is taken, i take off the e collar to let him groom.

 

Maslinda dropped by my house today, with Abg G in the car. We attempted to catch the Quack but failed!
