We have subsidised RM207.50 for this case, which is 50% of the bill (inclusive of medication and boarding as the eye had to be monitored).

This stray dog has a small reddish lump in the right eye which was tearing and covered with yellow pus like layer. He looked uncomfortable so I took him to see the vet who recommended surgery to the eye. The surgery itself is RM300. Dr. could your organization help to subsidize part of the fees for the medical attention?

Sorry for not replying immediately as I go out to feed stray dogs at night.
No, I do not keep this dog. He, together with another female dog were left behind when the Indian family shifted to another place. He is known as ‘Boy-boy’ and the female, ‘Girl-girl’ to the residents in Taman Chi Liung, Klang.( I lived in this area until I moved).
In the day time, some residents offer him food. I feed him and others there every night. If it rains, some kind souls open their gates to offer him shelter. He does not like to be confined in the house for too long….he prefers the free life on the road. One evening, he together with the female dog were caught by the dog catchers. A former neighbour (who knows I love them) called to inform me and the next morning I went to the pound to bail them out.
I do not know about other organizations which can help to subsidise. In fact, I did not know about ‘myanimalcare’ until I asked the vet to lower the fees for me to spay the dogs as there are many female dogs around and with my meagre pension, it is quite a financial strain for me to do so. The vet told me I could appeal for financial aid from your organization and am thankful for the aid rendered so far.
Please help me to help ‘Boy-boy’ to have better vision.
Once my application is approved, I shall submit the necessary forms.

P.S. The sick Rotweiller from the orphanage is still warded in the clinic as his wounds are not healed yet.
And Boy-Boy is okay now!
