Some time last week, Amy brought a mother-cat for spaying under our sponsorship. Apparently, this mother-cat was seen to be pregnant some weeks back and has since delivered, but her kittens were no where to be found.
So, Amy thought she had probably lost all her kittens (as some mother-cats are apt to do due to lack of experience), so she brought the mother-cat to be spayed.
After the mother-cat was released, one night, she came to Amy's door, and guess what she brought along?
Her two babies!!
What a smart mother!
So, Amy took them in to foster, and during the Petfinder event, Nurul came to our booth and offered to be a fosterer.
Arrangements were made, we got the mother-cat and her two kittens vaccinated (sponsored from our funds) and tomorrow, Amy will take the whole family to Nurul's.
I've been told by a vet that spayed mother-cats can still produce milk because it's all in the mind. It starts from the brain, not from the glands.
We hope the whole family will be very happy at Nurul's.
What a happy little story!
Cats are smart, yah?
