Hmm, Sunday mornings. Who doesn�t love a lie-in?!

But this weekend it will be a different story for 3 special people, who are running together in the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon for ACRES and the animals, and have a 5am start!

Our very own Marinna � ACRES� Director of Community Outreach – will be braving the 42km run, despite recently going through months of painful injury. Joining her will be Wildlife Runner and ACRES volunteer Xiu Li, and the amazing Tyre Girl Rima Chai, who will once again be making things even harder for herself by pulling a tyre!

ACRES

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
