Max Lightyear: To Infinity And Beyond!!

Here are happy updates from Lydia:

Hi Kah Yein,
Max is doing well and just zipping around keeping really busy playing with his toys and friends. He is so clever and interactive and has learnt very quicky to “Fetch”!!
His last visit to the vet on Mon showed even more improvements on his blood test although his red blood cell count, haemoglobin and PCV are stillbelow normal levels so we are continuing his antibiotics for another two weeks to make it a month in total. The vet was very pleased that his hind legs have gotten more flexible with his stretching and exercises. When he came to us his hind legs were very stiff and the muscles and tendonsshowed some contracture.
Despite his blood screen not at normal levels yet, he is eating, sleeping and playing well.
Max continues to go for his acupuncture once a fortnight and is keeping up with the swimming twice a week. Once a week with his rottie girlfriend Keisha andanother timewith his other girlfriend Beijing from Furry Friends Farm. He has quite the social life now as I do believe that all and any exposure is good and gives them opportunities to grow and understand the world better.
At home when he’s outdoors he has Sunshine for company and when he’s indoors he has Hopie for company. He is very sociable and always happy.
Last week the very lucky and loved Max was visited by his aunties from Ipoh!! What a lovely visit from Kelly, Jacinta and Miss Lee when we enjoyed the time with Max and exchanging stories of our 4paws. Max and I were very touched that these thoughtful and sincere ladies cared enough to get on the bus to see Max and then return to Ipoh on the same day, back to their responsibilities of looking after their many many rescue dogs. We will never forget this gesture of caring.
We had so much to share during their visit that regretfully I did not take a photo with all of the ladies. Luckily at leastI got oneof Max and Kelly.
Best regards,
L
