Mrs Lim contacted me about 2-3 months ago about getting this female dog whom she's been feeding spayed. The dog was sent to our panel vet and found to be pregnant so we had to delay the spaying.

Last week she called to say the dog had already delivered and is ready to be spayed now.

The dog was quite nervous when brought to the clinic this morning. She was obviously very scared. Two vets had to hold her down, and quickly sedate her and the surgery was performed immediately.

Here she is, after surgery, in the process of waking up.

She made a lot of noise, but calmed down when we went in to see her and stayed with her. Her ear has been notched. Mrs Lim will eventually return her to the neighbourhood but will continue to feed her. The vets said the dog is very well-fed and in fact, has so much fat! She's 20kg!

The spaying is sponsored from our funds.
