We have subsidised RM100 for the spaying of Pothu. If you’d like to adopt Pothu, please contact Eileen Ng at ngeileen.a@gmail.com.
Dear Dr Chan
I would like to seek spaying subsidy for Pothu. She is a homeless dog that hangs around the shops in Ara Damansara. I believed she once had an owner but was abandoned. A security guard used to take her as one of his guard dogs as she is very alert and smart. But he abandoned her after she contracted mange and ticks and had a litter of puppies in July. We had rehomed her surviving three pups. I also treated her mange with revolution spot on. See pictures before and after. Her hair has grown back beautifully now but i plan to do one more last round of spot on to ensure mange won’t return. She is a very calm and steady dog. Very loyal and a great watchdog. It’s a long shot but if anybody out there who can give her a home, please do call me.
I sent her for spaying on Monday and have since returned her to the colony. I feed her daily, along with two other dogs. I hope to also spay the other mama dog that hangs around the area but that will be another story. Hope you can help with her spaying cost.
Thanks n cheers
Eileen
