Ongoing Fundraising With Orifera Products
Tweet |
First and foremost, we would like to thank Orifera for their generosity in donating the initial shipment of soap and toothpaste to us for the purpose of fundraising. That shipment has been “sold out” last week.
We wish to also thank all of you who have been so supportive, especially those who are willing to switch from shower gel to soap and those who are willing to give these premium products a try. The feedback from our readers who are now using these products has been very good.
What’s most important to us is that these products are NOT tested on animals.
Since education is one of our three missions and we often highlight the plight of laboratory animals and how much suffering they endure, we now have a cordial arrangement with Orifera where they have most graciously allowed us to take their products on consignment for the purpose of fundraising. Upon the request of donors, we offer the following tokens of appreciation (gifts) for donations received:
Donation of RM5: A bar of soap
Donation of RM15: A tube of toothpaste
Since we are now taking the products by consignment and not getting them free, we hope you will reimburse us for postage.

Product information from the manufacturer:
Virgin Coconut Oil has about 45 to 55 % lauric acid and 7% of caprylic acid. These are medium chain fatty acids which has nutraceutical effects ie they are able to eliminate virus, bacteria, parasites and fungus. Apart from this, Virgin Coconut Oil prevents trans-epidermal water loss (TEFL). It helps to retain the water moisture on the skin.
Scientists have also tested coconut oil against Streptococcus mutans – a sugar-loving bacterium that clings to teeth and produces acid causing them to rot. When the oil was treated with digestive enzymes it became a powerful killer of the bug. This paves the way for toothpastes and mouthwashes containing coconut as an active ingredient.
Net Wt: Soap (100g); Toothpaste (150g)
