Here's one happy story to start off your morning...
Jess contacted me with an S.O.S. a few weeks back. She had rescued this little kitten but she knew her parents would not allow her to keep him.
Jess found a fosterer in Semenyih but had to drive all the way there at midnight. I told her it was really unsafe for a young girl to drive all the way on that lonely road with only a GPS and at a most unearthly hour, but Jess was terrified her parents (who were away at that time but returning the next morning) would scold her for bringing in a kitten.
Long story cut short, Jess got a friend to foster the kitten that night and the next morning she drove the kitten safely to Semenyih under the care of a very cat-loving couple.
Updates from Jess:
The fosterer told me that they have decided to adopt the kitten (now named Raka). According to them, Raka is a very naughty boy, but they still love him to bits! (I learned this from reading your blog ^_^ )
A few people comment on the photo, that Raka is very handsome & they loves the marble marking on his body. They think it's special & rare :)
I told them that I'm very very happy that they adopted Raka. And seeing him (in the photos) adapting so well in his new home, with so many step brothers & sisters to play with, and also a step mother that will nurse him, it makes my 'long hour' driving to Semenyih worth it!

Raka and his new brother.
Raka and his new family!
Raka's new mom.
Have a happy life, Raka!
