Great news from Nandhini:
Hi Kah Yein
Great News. Queen has been adopted!
One of my friends shared Queen’s photos on her Facebook page and someone from there contacted me
Darshini is a student in KL and her family is back in JB. Their terrier passed away couple of years back due to old age and she fell in love with Queen just by looking at her photos:)
She then showed the photos to her father and he decided to adopt queen.
Darshini madearrangementswith Koo to meet and pick up Queen yesterday. She was transported to JB the same afternoon and is getting adjusted to her new environment.
Since she is a ‘people dog’, we are very confident that she will fall in love with her new family really soon:)
Attached are some photos Koo shared
I would like to thank Koo from the bottom of my heart for giving a loving home and all the care she needed for the past one month. It was more than just fostering. He does not want to accept any sort of token of appreciation and has requested me to donate to animalcare instead. I have banked in a small amount to animal care’s account.
Rescued: 10th Oct 2012
Adopted: 10th Nov 2012
Regards

Have a great life, Queen, and thank you, Dharshini!
We’d like to thank Nandhini and Koo for rescuing and looking after Queen and our grateful thanks go to Dharshini for giving Queen a great home now.
Last but not least, thank you, everyone, for helping Queen find a home.
What a great Deepavali gift for Nandhini! Thank you for your kind donation too.
Queen has come a LONG way since the day she was rescued:http://myanimalcare.org/2012/10/10/fostereradopter-needed-for-queen-rescued-terrier-nandhini-sivannas/
One animal off the streets and into a safe and loving home is a cause for celebration!
