The stocks have finally arrived!!
Been waiting all day for this. Drove to the supplier, loaded my little Kelisa with 7 boxes of tshirts and brought them home. Then, I found that the "Ladies" labels had fallen off, so I had to open up each pack and check which are the Ladies', buy masking tape and label every single piece. Lots of behind-the-scenes work, as always, before we can start selling. It's a labour of love.
Jia-Wen decided to help. He's wearing my husband's size which is too big for him! Wait, I'll get him to wear a size 36 afterwards.
Ming-Yi came down as well. This is the back of the tshirt.
Nice?
I must say, it's really "cool" and chic!
I have never worn black all my life, but I'll make an exception this time.
For those who have pre-ordered by post, I'll be packing and posting your orders real soon. Wait for it - in three days' time. Poslaju ought to be reliable.
For those who have ordered but have not paid or indicated mode of delivery, please check your mailboxes. I have written to you. Kindly respond soon so that I can settle this before our big Wesak Sales.
The price is RM25. Fully-combed cotton.
We'll be selling this black design (and the Cute and Gold designs - both white) during Wesak at four booths this year, but that depends on whether I have any stock left by then. I only ordered 315 pieces of Black - didn't know if it would be popular then....
Would it be?
Let me know if you like it.....ok?
For those of you who go to the Bandar Utama Buddhist Society, we will start our first sale of the black tshirt there this Sunday, 15th May, after my Dhamma talk at the shrine hall. The sale will be held at Sukhi Hotu Bookshop in the basement. Do please come, if you'd like to purchase one (or two, or three, or more!). BUBS welcomes everyone. You don't have to be a Buddhist. No worries.
For Wesak, we will again be selling our tshirts at the following venues:
1. Subang Jaya Buddhist Association. 2. Bandar Utama Buddhist Society. 3. Karma Kagyu Centre, Jln Loke Yew. 4. Putra Heights Buddhist Society.
(While stocks last...., of course.)
For new readers to this blog, AnimalCare is not a Buddhist charity, but a lot of our support come from the Buddhists.
We'd be more than happy to open an awareness booth if any church, mosque, Hindu or Sikh temples invite us for their festive celebrations, if only to promote the value of compassion to animals.
AnimalCare is a charity for all stray animals and animals do not have (do not need?) a religion. Kindness would be enough.
That'll be enough for us humans, too, yah?
