When size matters!

Weve been busy with the tape measures, measuring up the rescued tortoises at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre to see who can go where in the outdoor enclosures were preparing for them. We want them to feel as comfortable as possible!

Can you guess the sizes of our smallest and biggest tortoises? Meet little and large: Peanut and Tiny Tot!

Tiny Tot is one of the many star tortoises at the AWRC. Their pretty shells make them popular as pets, but they are not suited to a life in captivity, or to Singapores humid environment.
Tiny Tot has been with us for 3 years, after he was discovered abandoned in a cardboard box with his companion Boris. Tiny Tot was extremely small when we rescued him, meaning that he had only recently been smuggled into Singapore. He is now 10cm long, but still the smallest animal (in length) at the AWRC!
