Adoption Spotlight

Several months ago, National Parks Board approached SPCA to help with the stray dog population living in Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West. This was following feedback from residents in the area. (From left) Amelia, Penelope and Ella were very timid when they arrived at the SPCA. Our Animal Care Officers worked hard to acclimatise them. They spent weeks in our offices, getting used to having people around. With daily walks and time spent with volunteers and staff, they’ve slowly become less fearful. Though they’re still not very comfortable with humans, given time and the effort of a loving family, we’re sure they will make great companions. They don’t demand much, just a nice, sheltered spot in a garden to laze in, food and the space to be themselves.
Please help them find a home even if you can’t adopt them by sharing this with everyone you know!
