Urgent Help Required: Mdm Hoos Dogs Need To Be Relocated

As you know, Mdm Hoo feeds about 200 dogs all over Kajang. A few days ago, she was attacked by some people. We are publicising the story here as Mdm Hoo needs help and advice.

More importantly, since the people who beat her up do not like her feeding the dogs, these dogs need to be relocated as soon as possible. Please help if you can.

Any form of help is most welcome. Please contact Mei Kueen directly if you are able to help.

Dear Dr Chan,
Last week when Madam Hoo went to feed dogs in one particular area, an Indian man warned her not to feed the dogs over there. He told her if you come
again the next day, you see what i will do to you. She got very worried and ask her husband to go and survey the area first before she feeds them. Her husband
said she is actually feeding in an open area some distance away from the indian man’s house. I told her not to worry as the worst is they will
get the MPKJ to catch all the dogs.
Things are not like what we expected. This morning the man with a few others hit her with a stick as per attached photos. They asked her to pick up
all the rice if not they will pick and throw at her face. Her hand is swollen but i believe the blue black patches will come out later. I had asked her
to make her a report but knowing the police will not take actions , what can we do?
Pls share.
Thank you.
Regards
Mei Kueen

We advised Mdm Hoo to see a doctor, get a medical report and then make a police report. While we do not expect everyone to like animal feeders or empathise with the plight of hungry stray animals, an assault on the feeder is uncalled for. We also advised Mdm Hoo not to return to this area for the time being, for her own safety.

Meanwhile, the dogs need to be evacuated and if anyone can help with ideas or physical help, please contact Mei Kueen directly.

Updates on 2nd Nov 2012:

Hi Dr Chan,

Madam Ho made a police report and got the medical report already but police said these people susah sikit. They like to create problem.
This morning she went there to look for a lady staying around that area to check she is willing to become her witness if required and the
guys are waiting for her again. They said “berani datang lagi” and took the photo of Madam Ho , her bike and plate no.

I worry for her safety if this guy is going to do anything to her if the police did go and warn them as the police said they will warn them.
Surprised why they took photos of her and the bike.

The other problem is we want to remove the dogs from the area but we can’t do alone. If Madam Ho cannot feed them, others also can’t.
With this heartless ppl around, i think the dogs will suffer. There are about 8-10 dogs and one of them is suspected to be having TVT and
a few with skin problem.

I will provide the details to MDDB to see what they can do.
Thank you.
Regards
Mei Kueen

I spoken to MDDB this morning. They asked me to share on fb get more ppl to gather to confront this guy. The problem is now today andyesterday all in 5 guys are in involved and we don’t know what time they are around unless Mdm Hoo’s feeding time. For the rescue of the dogs, MDDB suggested i get SPCA to help catch and transfer.
A friend had arrange for Dato Saravanan to meet this guy tomorrow. I don’t know whether they will be able to meet or not. If you can blog for help we are very happy as she only depend on me to get help for her. Pls help us to relocate the dogs and see what we can do.
Thank you.
