Hi Dr Chan,
Am wondering if anyone could help? Someone abandoned 2 kittens just
outside my condo’s rubbish area last night in a cardboard box. My
condo does not allow for pets. I have tried to feed them with milk but
they are not responding. Their eyes are open, and can walk a little.
Might you be able to advise if there issomeone who might be able to
help them? I can foot some costs ifneeded.

I remember the contact of a kitten fosterer so I gave Mr Low her contact details. We were lucky, the fosterer replied to say she would be able to take in these 2 kittens but would now be full until next year.
So, arrangements were made.
And at 9.30pm:
We wish to thank the fosterer very much for responding and Mr Low for doing his part in rescuing the kittens and seeing to their safety. All’s well that ends well.If you can help to foster kittens/puppies and would like to offer your services, please do write to me at chankahyein@gmail.com. We definitely need a pool of kitten/puppy fosterers. It is perfectly alright for you to state your terms and conditions as that would only be fair. We will make the connection and the requester and fosterer can then work out an agreeable arrangement. All we ask is that both sides honour the agreement and keep to their word, whether it concerns costs to be covered, duration of fostering or other related matters.
Most fosterers are afraid to offer their services because of the fear of dumping. This fear can be alleviated if everyone would just keep to his or her word.
