When Lilac was first admitted to the clinic for surgery, there was a little white kitten (rescued) boarding in the cage above Lilac's.
I could not take a clear picture of this little white kitten as she was extremely friendly and was moving all the time. Mary and I both felt sorry for her as she was completely blind in one eye, but was so, so adorable. I had wanted to put her up for adoption.
But guess what, she's already been adopted! Someone came into the clinic, fell head over heels in love with her and has now taken her home!
Yay!!
Apparently, she is a mixed Persian too....(I mean, the kitten). And has medium-length hair.
If you'd like to adopt rescued kittens or puppies, do drop in at Mayo Clinic in USJ Taipan. There are always animals for adoption.
A few days, Rani called to say someone had abandoned an elderly blind Shih-Tzu there as well. Apparently, that someone had come into the clinic with the dog under the pretext of seeing the vet. The moment Rani went to the back of the clinic, the person left the clinic and never came back. Poor dog....it must be his pet, and it's an old dog too. Ah Fatt is trying to get someone to adopt this dog as well. If I can get a photo, I'll put it up here. Or, would you like to help foster this old dog? If so, please go to Mayo Clinic and offer your help.
Pet dumpers....tsk....what goes around, comes around. Some people only look at short-term solutions for their own benefit. But life goes on, and the universe is always fair.
