On A Hot Day.its BATHTIME!!

Whenever my husband goes off to work, Bosco (and now, even Raven) comes into the house. They know when they can come in…(shh).
This afternoon, Bosco was comfortably sitting on the sofa next to me. That’s when I noticed how “grey” his white patches were. It’s supposed to be white, but it’s all grey. Greasy, I think…
So, being such a hot day, I thought it might be good to….
…give Bosco a bath!
So I carried him, the poor guy was so, so trusting, I almost felt bad.
Then, I placed him into the kitchen sink and turned on the warm water tap. Slowly, I wet his fur…
It was quite a bit of an adventure, but all in all, there were no mishaps on either side. Bosco didn’t quite like it, but he did not put up any fight either save for some struggling to get out of the sink.
While I was bathing him, Indy came onto the kitchen window sill to peep. Poor Indy, he is very possessive of me and now we have Bosco who thinks he has adopted me. Bosco reminds me clearly of Kimba. That was how Kimba was. He came, he conquered me…and he went after 2 months, tragically. Sigh… Kimba was Indy’s best friend as both were kittens then. They were at the age where they played games together. I still remember once when both of them brought a big rat into the house, so happy with their discovery.
Anyway, back to the bath…
Being so trusting, he did not even attempt to run away after I had wiped him.
Imagine that…my six year-olds whom I hand-raised don’t even trust me enough to let me pill them or do anything to them, and here we have Bosco who barely knows me for 2 weeks, putting his entire life in my hands. Now, how do you explain that? It’s some karmic link or some affinity at work here, isn’t it?
Indy and Cow were watching from the room…
Hah…YOU! My next “victim”!
But truth be told, since Tabs came to us, we have not bathed her before….(oopsies!). Well, there was never a need to because she is always so clean, and coiffed, etc…
Our girl was caught by surprise and was quite annoyed…
The poor girl felt so “ashamed”, she scuttled off to hide behind the rocking chair. Indy was the first to lick her and comfort her. Good ol’ Indy!
Sobs, sobs…what has she done to me?
Now, anyone else wants a bath? It’s a hot and sunny day…
NO.
Ok, don’t even ask…
Hmm…possible victim, but he’s so heavy and if he struggles, I might get injured!
Er…no, thanks.
*Cili padi*
So it looked like I had no candidate for a bath…
Nothing like a good nap after a nice bath, ya!
