Amber Horsey is the former Horsey!
Horsey was rescued by Joanne Lim and brought to our panel vet for treatment. Horsey was found to have a compound fracture in her hind leg and amputation was recommended. After the procedure, Horsey was (and still is) fostered by Lydia.
Here are some photos taken by Joanne when she visited Horsey recently.
From a feral dog who used to snap, Horsey is now more trusting of humans. With all the tender loving care from Lydia, I'm sure this will be a quick process!
Latest photos and updates from Lydia:
Amber is doing well. She has since put on weight as confirmed when we weighed her at her last vet visit. She has picked Seven, our own tripod dog as her friend and they often roll around and wrestle which will certainly help in strengthening her reliance on her three remaining limbs. Amber has healed well and is slowly adjusting to meeting strangers as she's still weary of strangers having spent her life struggling for survival on the streets. I'm working on giving her more positive exposure to people to give her more confidence. And then on to the next challenge of finding a good and caring home for her.
Three legs? I don't miss a thing! I run around as I please. Glad to have that pain-in-the-leg out of the way.

Horsey's chosen "safe haven" in Lydia's house.
Joanne decided to rename Horsey "Amber", hence, "Amber Horsey". Horsey is her surname as that came first? :))
Amber Horsey is up for adoption. If interested, please contact Joanne at canieanne@yahoo.com or 012-906 1688.
