Subject: Seeking Subsidy For Neutering Female Street Dog
To: chankahyein@gmail.com
Dear Dr Chan,
I’m foong yee from shah alam. I found the mother dog & 8 of her puppies as attached in front of my working place @ Taman Perindustrian UEP Subang Jaya.
She is given birth to 8 little puppies around 25th July 2012 or may be slightly earlier 2 to 3 days.
Me and my family and also few of my colleagues build a simple house for the puppies. We are happy to see the puppies growing uphealthily.
7 of her puppies been adopted last week after i post their photos @ Petfinder. Unfortunately 1 of the puppy was dead dropping into drain when the little pups was few days old.
I m actually planning to neuter the mother dog may be on second week of October.
But there is another female pups dumped by an indian guy 3 weeks ago still drinking the mother dog’s milk (refer to attachment puppy 2).The little pups was suffering from maggot when i found her. Now she is fully recovered from maggot. Is it ok to neuter the mother dog if the little pups still drinking her milk??
The little pups was suspected from having skin problem cause her fur drop off very fast.
I was advised by some rescuer that feed her raw eggs with sugar and bath her white vinegar + garlic will improve her skin condition. Is this ok for the pups??
Thank you very much for ur kind reply.
Have a nice day.
Regards,
foongyee
Further communication on 10th October:
Dear Dr Chan,
I’ve brought the mother-dog for spaying today at the clinic.
Attached here with the photos of the mother dog after surgery.
She looks painful after surgery but luckily still able to walk around slowly. She is now boarding at the clinic till this coming Sunday.
Her vaccination and deworming will be done on the day of discharge or may be 1 day earlier.
May i know if i could apply for subsidise of vaccination for this mother-dog as well??
Thanks alots and have a nice day.
Regards,
foongyee
The mother then developed some skin problems.
On 12th October:
Dear Dr Chan,
I’ve post the receipt and both neutering & medical subsidy form to u this late afternoon. I will bear the boarding charges myself.
Btw i wanted to seek for your advise on medical treatment subsidy. Is skin problem treatment included for the subsidy??
The mother-dog is having skin problem according to doctor, she is scratching whole body and bite her tail very frequent and hurt herself.
Thus, doctor given her an injection (i m not sure what injection is it).
She is now wearingveterinarian collar as advised by doctor to prevent her from bitten her tail and scratching her body so frequent (photo attached).
Thanks for your reply.
Regards,
foongyee
We need more information about the skin problem if Foong Yee intends to apply for a subsidy. The skin problem treatment was not listed on the receipt.
