Do We Have A Choice? Yes, We Do!

I am Khoo Nee Hui from SJBA Youth Selection. I attended YDC 20 last year and was fascinated and deeply moved by your talk regarding Animal Care. And so, I got myself a copy of your book, ‘Do We Have A Choice’ and I just finished reading it today. The reason I’m writing this e-mail is because I want to thank you personally for this wonderful book which changed my life and the way I think, and of course the way I eat. I’ll not lie as before having this read, i was a meat lover. I did not think of the sufferings of the animals. And as stated in the book, I love dogs and cats, but I cannot consider myself as an animal lover due to my previous eating habits. However, after reading this book, I’m ready for the change and I’m proud to say that I have already started the change today (had ‘zhap fan’ for lunch with tofu and some green vegetables) ! It is pretty hard for me and my family as we’re basically born on meat, but I’ve told my family members to consume less meat and hopefully they will and eventually cut out all meats. Once again, Thank you for this wonderful wonderful book and I will be more than happy to help out and join any events by Animal Care in the near future.
