Dear KY,
As we know dog catching activities are becoming rampant these days with even pets confined within the house compound not being safe anymore. The perpetrators are private dog catching companies that have been commissioned by the local councils and the bounty can be anywhere between RM35 to RM55 per dog caught. We were also told that one local council has even offered a dog catching tender that comes with a bounty of RM100 for every dog caught. The latest escapade was the Ampang Jaya local councils dog catching stint which has been uploaded on Youtube. We have to put a stop to this and we need people to lodge mass reports by this Saturday. Subsequently, they can attend a press conference on the matter at ARMADA Hotel at 9.00am this Sunday, Oct 14. We need all the support we can get. Herewith a sample police report all they have to do is to save it on a thumb drive and take it along with them to the police station in their district or neighbourhood.
